Older style dictation handsets recorded onto mini or micro cassettes.  Now with digital dictation machines you can record to a digital sound file.  Once you are free from the restraints and poor recording quality of cassettes, you can connect your recording device to your computer, download your files and send your dictation electronically via email or secure file transfer for transcription and return in the same way.

 

We are able to receive and transcribe all of the main types of sound file including MP3 files, WAV files, DSS files, Olympus DSS files, Sony MSV and DVF files, Voice It SRI files, Vox files, Windows Media ASF and WMA files and any other files supported by Windows Media.

 

Simply contact us for a quotation or to book in your dictation for transcription, send us your files and we will transcribe them accurately, speedily and with the minimum of fuss and return them to you.

 

You will need a broadband internet connection as transfer of audio recordings via modem will be very slow and, for large files, impossible.
